AT&T Joins AEMP Strategic Alliance Program

Program provides professional development and growth tools for equipment management professionals.

The Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) is proud to announce AT&T as the newest member of its prestigious Strategic Alliance Partnership program. In this role, AT&T will be part of the enhancement of AEMP programs designed to provide professional development and growth for equipment management professionals.

AT&T joins an impressive lineup of AEMP alliance collaborators, including Case New Holland, Castrol Heavy Duty Lubricants, Caterpillar, Construction Equipment magazine, IronPlanet, John Deere Construction & Forestry, Komatsu, Randall Reilly Construction Division, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, and Volvo Construction Equipment. AT&T’s entry into the alliance program demonstrates its desire to work hand-in-hand with the nation’s asset management executives.

“We support the AEMP philosophy of fostering multi-tiered relationships with end users, distributors, suppliers and OEM’s,” said Mike Troiano, executive director, AT&T Business Solutions. “We have a long history of working with both equipment OEMs and end-user fleets to help them maximize their use of embedded machine-to-machine technology in their equipment to create and manage integrated telematics solutions. We see our alliance with the AEMP as an opportunity to help the industry further embrace and extend mobile solutions, and take advantage of these solutions to improve their business processes.”

AT&T recognizes the importance of the emerging AEMP Telematics Standard to this industry, as well as related AEMP efforts to boost fleet productivity.

The AEMP-led Telematics Standard has changed the face of the industry, successfully completing something no other group, company or entity has yet been able to pull off. With the addition of AT&T, current Strategic Alliance Partners and AEMP Technology Committee, this initiative will continue to evolve and serve equipment managers for years to come.
