InsiteShip suite is approved for use with Infor VISUAL products.
Insite Software announces that it has joined Infor’s Solution Partner Program, and its InsiteShip offering has been validated for use with Infor VISUAL products. The announcement was made today at Internet Retailer Conference 2013, the world’s largest eCommerce event.
With InsiteShip, Infor manufacturing and distribution customers now have a trusted and vetted shipping solution that complements the Infor VISUAL product, and which introduces significant business efficiencies into the enterprise shipping process, for fewer errors, faster shipments and significant cost savings.
InSiteShip shipping software breaks down the complicated order fulfillment steps between booking an order and shipping it to a simple three step process: Enter the order number; enter the quantity; and click "Ship It!" Everything users currently do manually in VISUAL is done automatically, without having to re-enter the order in third-party shipping software.
The solution gives manufacturers and distributors critical multiple-carrier shipping functionality including automated hazardous materials and international shipment paperwork, shipment planning tools, rate shopping and automation of tracking and email notifications.
