Hahn Acquires ECS Fasteners
ECS lines will expand Hahn's Fuzion Fasteners offering.
Hahn Systems, LLC, a construction and industrial tools supplier, announced today that it has acquired substantially all the assets of ECS Fasteners LLC located in Westport Indiana. The transaction was completed as an asset purchase.
All operations and employees will remain in Westport. ECS’ product line will be incorporated into Hahn’s private labeled Fuzion Fasteners brand and the company will become a division of Hahn Systems.
ECS is one of only a handful of domestic manufacturers of machine grade bulk nails to supply the wood pallet industry. The company has an excellent reputation for quality and on time delivery to major wood pallet manufactures throughout the United States.
The combination with Hahn will allow for substantial additional capital investment in technologically advanced nail making machinery with a goal of tripling sales within the next 24 months.
Hahn Systems, which currently employs over 70 full-time employees, has already begun the process of acquiring additional equipment to build capacity and will be hiring additional sales, customer service and delivery associates.

Fuzion will be increasing its manufacturing capacity by more than 100 percent in the next six months alone and we will hire additional personnel to keep pace with forecasted revenue increases. Founded in 1938, Hahn Systems distributes construction and industrial materials, including tools, nails, staples, abrasives and MRO supplies. The company added lines which include lumber, drywall, ceiling tile and other contractor supplies to its service offerings through the purchase of Southeastern Supply Company in June 2012.
