Strong Man Becomes Strong Man Safety Products
New name reflects company's core focus on safety.
The nation’s number one supplier of debris netting and weather enclosure products is taking on a new name.
Established in 1974 as Strong Man Building Products Corporation, the family-owned company is celebrating 40 successful years in the industry with a name change that reflects the core of their business. Effective July 27, Strong Man Building Products will now be know as Strong Man Safety Products.
“It’s a seemingly small change,” notes Strong Man Founder Jay Kinder. “But the fact is we’re not just in the debris netting business. We’re in the business of selling safety. That’s true whether it involves keeping workers safe on the job site or pedestrians passing in the streets below, or even protecting buildings and equipment. When people in the business think Strong Man, they think ‘safety,’ and we wanted our name to reflect that.”
Strong Man Safety Products will unveil their new name at the 2014 Scaffold and Access Industry Association (SAIA) in Austin. The company is celebrating their 40-year anniversary and name change with a relaunch and rebranding of their website, www.strongman.com
