Michael Baker International appoints Daniel Liston as Mid-Atlantic region Construction Services leader

Michael Baker International, a global engineering, consulting, planning, technical and professional services firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel R. Liston, CCM, to construction services leader in the firm’s Mid-Atlantic Region.
“Dan’s deep knowledge of transportation infrastructure and his construction management capabilities align well with initiatives to expand Michael Baker International’s construction services offerings,” said Dave Thompson, P.E., senior vice president and Mid-Atlantic Region director. “His background and expertise will enable us to further strengthen the Mid-Atlantic Region’s relationships with a number of key clients.”
Liston brings more than 20 years of professional engineering and construction services experience to Michael Baker International. Most recently, he served in a variety of positions with the Virginia Department of Transportation, including highway engineer and state construction management engineer. His responsibilities included program oversight for estimating, bid proposal development, federal agency coordination and administration.
Liston earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Military Institute and achieved his CCM from the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI). He is a member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and a previous member of the AASHTO Subcommittee on Construction. He has also participated in several National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) panels for studies relating to Highway Maintenance and Construction.
The Mid-Atlantic Region for Michael Baker International includes the states of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia.
