Industrial Supply launches Spanish-language website

New site makes it easy for Spanish speakers to access products and training.

Industrial Supply Company, the region’s largest privately owned maintenance, repair and operational and production (MROP) distributor, has launched a new Spanish-language version of their website making it easier for Spanish speakers to access their products and trainings. To access the new site, visit www.indsupply.com and select the Spanish button to see the translation.

With 30 percent of their business related to safety, Industrial Supply created the new site to better reach their Spanish-speaking customers with resources and information. Hispanics currently have the highest on-the-job fatality rate in the U.S. While all other groups have declined or stayed the same, the fatality rate for Hispanic workers has continued to rise, up 3.9 percent in 2013 according the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. The reasons are multifaceted, but language barriers contribute to the problems.

“We are proud to offer this new resource for our Spanish-speaking customers.” says Jessica Yurgaitis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Industrial Supply is committed to diversity in the workplace and making sure all our customers can access information, products and services that will help protect and keep them safe.”
