3M Personal Safety Division launches new blog

"Safety Now & Next" provides relevant, easy-to-understand information on worker safety, training & technical resources, and regulatory news.

When it comes to worker health & safety, information is everywhere, but it’s often very confusing, and hard for people to apply to their own work environment. To help customers cut through the clutter, the 3M Personal Safety Division has launched Safety Now & Next, a new blog that can serve as a go-to resource for worker health and safety news, tips and questions.

The Safety Now & Next blog provides relevant and easier-to-understand information from many different PPE offerings, such as Active Safety, Detection Solutions, Fall Protection, Head and Face Protection, Hearing Protection, Industrial Ergonomic Devices, Protective Apparel, Protective Communications, Protective Eyewear, Reflective Material, Respiratory Protection and Welding Safety. It will also tackle such relevant information as regulations & compliance, training & education and industry trends related to health & safety.

“This blog is one of the ways we hope to connect with our customers, employers, and workers by providing them with easier access to our technical resources and services, as well as our catalog of leading-edge personal protective equipment,” said Chuck Stobbie, CMO at 3M Personal Safety Division.

Because more companies and workers rely increasingly on their smartphones out in the field, both the blog and the 3M Worker Health & Safety website have been designed to provide a more mobile-friendly experience. Companies, safety professionals and workers now have access to an updated 3M Personal Safety product catalog, the 3M Safety Expertise Center as well as industry-specific pages that include transportation, construction, food manufacturing and metalworking.

The 3M Safety Now & Next blog is available online at workersafety.3m.com/safety-now/.
