Metabo introduces 2017/2018 North America catalog
New Power Tools and Accessories catalog covers metalworking, cordless, concrete and masonry dustless solutions, plus woodworking tools and accessories.
Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade cordless and corded hand-held power tools and accessories, launched its updated 2017/2018 Power Tools and Accessories Catalog.
The new catalog features detailed specifications for Metalworking, Cordless, and Concrete & Masonry dustless solutions as well as woodworking tools and accessories. It also incorporates QR codes, that link directly to new product videos, making the catalog more interactive, and it includes an up-to-date list of authorized Metabo service centers and warranty information.
Throughout the catalog, key features and benefits of Metabo tools are highlighted. There is a reference guide with key safety icons to make it easier for the user to choose a product based on its safety and performance features.
This year Metabo introduced ‘Drop Secure’, a tethering solution for drop free zones, adding another layer of safety to angle grinders. Tools with this feature include a tethering eye at the rear of the tool so it can be attached to a lanyard and is out of the operator’s way as well as a mechanical brake that stops the wheel in under 2 seconds in case the tool is dropped.
With the upcoming OSHA silica safety rule being enforced, Metabo also wanted to highlight its full range of concrete and masonry dustless solutions. Metabo offers the most advanced integrated dustless system for handheld power tools available, protecting users from harmful debris commonly generated in surface grinding and drilling applications.
The updated 2017/2018 catalog includes new product categories such as: fully featured rat tail grinders, metal beveling tools, 18V tapping tool, 18V mixer as well as 18V cordless caulking guns and many more. Besides new product category offers, there has been an expansion of current ones, like the new 9” brushless cordless angle grinder, available in both 36V and 2 x 18V and a multi-bay charger that can charge up to 8 batteries simultaneously, perfect for multiple users on a job-site or when working with a variety of cordless tools. These are just a few of the tools in the new catalog.
