QA1 celebrates 25 years with open house and cruise
Event is set for July 20 in Lakeville, Minnesota.
QA1 is proud to be celebrating its 25th anniversary throughout 2018. As part of the celebration, they are highlighting this anniversary during their annual Open House and #goDRIVEit Cruise, which will take place July 20 at their facility in Lakeville, Minnesota.
QA1 was founded in 1993 by Jim Jordan to introduce rod ends and spherical bearings for performance racing, and the vision for QA1 was incorporated into its very name: Quality and Affordability are #1.
Since then, QA1 has grown into an advanced technology engineering and manufacturing company producing performance shocks, suspension components, driveshafts, and more. With over 83,000 sq. ft. of space and state-of-the-art equipment, QA1 is constantly evolving and innovating to lead the industry in technology and new products, like their award-winning carbon fiber driveshafts.
Each year, QA1 invites enthusiasts to get an inside look at their operations and manufacturing facility by spending the morning at their annual Open House and #goDRIVEit Cruise. Held from 7am to 9am, the open house features tours of the facility, prizes varying from small to large, free t-shirts, and a chance to show off your car.
Then, attendees cruise the 27 miles up to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds for the Street Machine Nationals, gaining preferred entrance to the show (attendees must be preregistered for the Street Machine Nationals and pick up their registration packet Thursday night).
This year, QA1 will highlight their 25 years with extra prizes and activities for attendees.
“We have come so far in 25 years, and we want to share our excitement with those who truly embody what we stand for – those people who go out and enjoy their vehicles out on the road,” says Melissa Scoles, QA1 President. “We are excited to offer new activities and bigger prizes at our Open House this year. Visitors will also get a chance to sign a commemorative banner and get a peek into QA1’s past.”
