STAFDA 2018 convention nears sell-out

All five initial host hotels are sold out; a second exhibit hall is in reserve.

As of August 24, STAFDA’s upcoming Phoenix Convention & Trade Show, October 28-30, is rivaling the strong numbers posted for its 2017 Austin meeting. Nine, 50x50 islands have been sold for the Trade Show (two more than last year) and of the 663 inline booths, only 20 remain.

However, STAFDA has another exhibit hall on ‘hold’ adjacent to its current halls in case it needs to be utilized.

STAFDA’s five host hotels were sold out by mid-July and three overflow properties also filled quickly. STAFDA just added another hotel, the FOUND:RE, to its hotel offering. Reservations may be made online from the members-only section of STAFDA’s website.

A list of current STAFDA exhibitors is online at www.stafda.org. The roster is updated each Monday afternoon. In addition, there are 20 Tech Fair companies registered to date, including five new vendors. At the 2017 Austin Convention, there were 20 Tech companies total, but it’s expected there will be more Tech firms signing up for Phoenix in the coming weeks.

Students from colleges and universities offering a supply chain, industrial distribution, or construction major have again been invited to the Convention. They’ll participate in all convention activities, including a special Speed Interviewing Session where they can meet with STAFDA members to interview for a job post graduation or land an internship.

STAFDA’s Convention & Trade Show is for members only. Non-members are encouraged to visit www.stafda.org for more information.
