Rob Moe is named Sphere 1 President & CEO
Moe takes mantle as Carol Shackelford retires.

Sphere 1 is pleased to announce that Rob Moe is now President & CEO effective January 1, 2019.
Prior to joining Sphere 1 as Senior Vice President in 2015, then President in 2018, Rob Moe has been in the construction industry since 1983. His extensive background in both distribution and manufacturing in the tool, fastener, and concrete product offering space has included experience with Duo Fast, Allied Fastener and Tools, Powers Fasteners and Lackmond Products.

Sphere 1’s former CEO, Carol Shackelford, has retired and is now consulting for Sphere 1. This February will mark 20 years since the idea to form Sphere 1 came to light when an industry cooperative veteran approached Carol about starting a new cooperative. The founding board members then came together to launch Sphere 1.
“In looking back, it was a true act of courage and commitment by these seven individuals with a clear vision for a successful organization that would bring value to our distributor-members and preferred supplier-partners,” Shackelford says.
