Kyocera to acquire SouthernCarlson
Kyocera Corporation announced that it has concluded an agreement to acquire 100 percent ownership of SouthernCarlson Inc., a distributor of tools, fasteners, packaging and facility supplies.
Under the agreement, Omaha, Nebraska-based SouthernCarlson will operate as a U.S.-based subsidiary of Kyocera Corporation.
SouthernCarlson serves a broad array of end markets from over 150 branches across North America. It is a distributor of construction fasteners, tools, packaging, facility supplies and tool repair services.
Kyocera Corporation is the parent corporation for Kyocera Senco Industrial Tools, a maker of powered fastening systems for construction, woodworking and industrial applications, and Kyocera SGS Precision Tools, a manufacturer of round solid carbide cutting tools.
