Citing growth in sales and the potential for expanding into foreign markets, TigerStop has opened a new office in Mexico City and has hired Gregorio Aspeitia as the National Sales Manager for Mexico.

An Industrial Engineer with a Masters in Administration, Gregorio Aspeitia has over 23 years of industry experience in product engineering, design, manufacturing, and corporate sales. He has a professional background which includes growing new markets for companies such as NSK and Hitachi Automotive marked by a consistent professional history of achieving impressive sales.

Aspeitia is tasked with new business development and building a new dealer network that can sell and support TigerStop products throughout Mexico and South America.

Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, with an office in The Netherlands, TigerStop continues to grow as its products support the needs of manufacturers throughout the world. “We are gaining traction in Mexico, and to serve this promising market we have decided to open an office in one of the most cosmopolitan and bustling cities in the world, Mexico City,” said VP of Sales and Service, Jack Ragan. “Building a dealer and support network in Mexico makes sense and will become a hub for expanding into South America.”

TigerStop was founded in 1994 by Spencer Dick, who as the owner of a thriving manufacturing business, became frustrated with the inherent inefficiencies of his machine operators stopping to reset and recalibrate whenever they were cutting material to various lengths. Spencer also noticed that regardless of how carefully material was measured, the end results were always of slightly different dimensions. He founded TigerStop to automate the cutting process so that exact and accurate parts, whether wood, metal or plastic, would result each and every time.
