DEWALT announces the launch of its new 20V MAX* lithium ion drywall cutout tool (DCS551). (*Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20 volts. Nominal voltage is 18.)
The DCS551 is ideal for cutting drywall, acoustical ceiling tiles or plywood to install recessed lighting, switch plates/outlet covers, sprinkler heads, signage, HVAC ventilation and various other drywall cutting applications.
With the new 20V MAX* cutout tool, drywall users can minimize the downtime typically associated with running extension cords on the jobsite and the expense of replacing frayed or damaged cords.
