Makita 40V Max XGT Jigsaws

Makita has two jigsaws available on it XGT platform for fine woodworking. The 40V max XGT Barrel Grip Jigsaw (GVJ01) features an ergonomically designed barrel grip that allows close-to-work control and more precise cuts. The 40V max XGT Jigsaw (GVJ02) features a more traditional D-Handle grip with a large two finger variable speed trigger with lock on-button for added user convenience. Each feature up to 20% faster cutting speeds and cut up to 180 feet per charge with one battery. Both saws also feature three orbital settings plus a straight cutting setting. The saws feature a 6-speed dial (800-3,500 SPM) and are engineered with constant speed control to provide continuous speed during heavy applications. There is a “tool-less” blade change system and a base that bevels and locks from 0 to 45 degree left or right for more precise bevel cuts.
