Metabo PE 15-20 RT Variable Speed High Torque Automotive Dry Polisher

Polisher, PE 15-20 RT (615200420).

“The PE 15-20 RT has the ideal speed range to tackle paint and automotive surfaces, with lower speed
for weathered paint surfaces and high speed for high gloss finishing. The development of the Variable
Speed High Torque Polisher came to fruition through collaboration with a major sports car manufacture,
where the finish must be perfect,” says Terry Tuerk, Metabo’s Senior Product Manager.

The planetary gearing allows for more efficient power transmission and provides quieter operation. Also,
the slim grip and rubberized front gear housing offer superior handling, even during extended operation.
The polisher has a step-less variable speed trigger, and variable speed setting for a range of 0 - 300 up to
0 -1,900 rpm. The 13 Amp motor produces 133 in-lbs. of torque through the planetary gearing and only
80Db for quiet performance.

The PE 15-20 RT includes VTC electronics (Vario-tacho-constamatic) - Metabo’s exclusive technology
that maintains RPM under load. The polisher has overload protection with LED display, which protects the
motor from burnout prolonging the tools life, as well as a soft start feature that allows for a smooth,
precise start-up. The PE12-20 RT also includes a lock-on switch with restart protection, which prevents
the tool from starting on its own in the event of a power interruption.
