Paslode Cordless 1-1/2 Inch Positive Placement Metal Connector Nailer
Paslode is excited to introduce the Cordless 1-1/2” Positive Placement® Metal Connector Nailer, our newest fuel-powered cordless metal connector nailer. The tool has Paslode's proprietary Positive Placement nose probe, which helps the pro quickly and accurately find metal connector holes and drive nails with precision and speed without the need of a hose or compressor.
“From installing joist hangers to hurricane ties, pro contractors can now move freely throughout the job site,” says Shafaq Imtiazi, Paslode Product Manager for Cordless Framing Systems. “This means they can easily navigate around wall frames and climb up on ladders without being tied to a hose or without the added size and weight of battery only technology.”

The Paslode Fuel System is easy to use and makes our cordless nailers lighter, more reliable, and more durable than battery only nailers. At only 6.7 pounds, our new Cordless Metal Connector Nailer lightweight and compact design allow for easy use overhead and in tight spaces. Designed to achieve maximum productivity, the fuel cell lasts 800 shots and the battery fully charged lasts around 9,000 nails.
Speed & Accuracy
The patented cordless Positive Placement probe quickly and accurately holes in any type of metal connector. “Our new tool is as fast as pneumatic tools and keeps up with jobsite demands,” according to Imtiazi. “It is as fast as setting the probe in the hole, pulling the trigger and moving onto the next hole, and all that without a hose getting in the way.”
Convenient Fuel + Nail Packs
The new tool is designed for optimal performance when using Paslode Positive Placement Fuel and Nail Packs. They are offered in 1-1/2” lengths in both .131” and .148” diameters and come in brite or mechanically galvanized finishes. The nails are heat treated with easyto- see head markings that make it easier for identification during inspection. The nails are ICC-ES code recognized (ESR-2126 & ESR-3326). The galvanization meets ASTM B695 Class 55 recognized for use in ACQ and all pressure treated lumber.
