Safety: Rebel Self-Retracting Lifelines from Capital Safety

Capital Safety, home of the DBI-SALA and PROTECTA brands of fall protection equipment, today announced the launch of a new line of Rebel Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRLs). The new Rebel SRL line from PROTECTA, which offers fall protection equipment at an exceptional value, features an ultra-durable product design, increased weight capacity, high-tech safety features and more product options to meet specific customer needs.
Rebel SRLs feature a top-of-class weight capacity, with the ability to accommodate up to 420 pounds, and a sturdy, robust design to ensure a longer product life to lower the cost of ownership. With an improved ergonomic design, the Rebel SRL is available in either aluminum or composite housing models. Additionally, the device is equipped with a special carrying handle that makes transportation to and from the job site easy, and it is designed to be stackable for simple, space-maximizing storage.
The Rebel SRL is also designed with the worker in mind, featuring an impact indicator to provide easy verification of whether the equipment has been involved in a fall event. A top anchorage swivel holds the SRL in line with the worker's motion, allowing for ease of movement and increased mobility.

The complete line of Rebel SRLs is an extensive family of products from PROTECTA with many options, such as nylon web, galvanized or stainless steel lifelines ranging in length from 6 to 100 feet, providing more choices to meet specifications of customers in key markets including general construction, roofing, scaffold work, concrete construction and steel erection.
