Rockler Dust Right Cord and Hose Hook

Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has introduced a new kind of bracket that not only lets woodworkers and DIYers run dust hose wherever needed but also holds air hoses and power cords out of the way to reduce work-area clutter.

The Dust Right Cord and Hose Hook can be permanently attached to a wall or stud with screws (not included) or hung from a nail or screw driven into an overhead support for mobile hose and cord management. It also can be attached to a workbench or table for cord or hose storage.

“Dust hose hooks have been around for a long time, but they typically only do one thing — hold dust hose to a wall,” said Steve Krohmer, Rockler's vice president for product development.

“The Dust Right Cord and Hose Hook does what the old hooks do but also keeps cords and air hoses organized and off the floor — and it can be used anywhere, even at a temporary workstation in the middle of your shop.”

The Cord and Hose Hook is made of glass-filled nylon for strength and durability, and it incorporates four support hooks: one large hook at the bottom for 2-1⁄2" or 4" diameter dust hose, a medium-sized hook in the middle for air hoses and two smaller hooks for power cords or extension cords.

Notches on the hooks allow users to secure hoses and cords with rubber bands or bungee cords.

Multiple Cord and Hose Hooks typically will be required to run dust collection to all the tools in a shop. Individual hooks can be placed anywhere to allow the user to work without having to fight a tangle of hoses and cords, resulting in less wear-and-tear and a safer work environment.
