Rockler Woodworking and Hardware's new Pipe Clamp Mounting Brackets expand the versatility of the acclaimed Sure-Foot Plus 3/4-inch Pipe Clamps.

Rockler's Pipe Clamp Mounting Brackets attach to the crossbeam of a sawhorse or to other 2x stock, anchoring a standard 3/4" pipe clamp so it can hold material on top of the sawhorse or serve as an on-site vise for such operations as planing the edge of a door. 

"The new Pipe Clamp Mounting Brackets essentially provide an extra set of hands when you're working with sawhorses," said Steve Krohmer, Rockler's vice president for merchandising and product development. "Pipe clamps mount quickly and adjust easily to whatever position you need to securely hold the stock being worked on for sawing, routing or planing."

Sold in sets of two, the brackets are made from heavy-duty steel and mount to any 11⁄2" thick beam with the included screws. Each bracket swings open to accept a 3/4" pipe in a reinforced nylon ring clamp fitted with a rubber gasket for a better grip. The ring clamp is tightened with a tool-free thumbscrew.

The clamps are positioned in the upright position when in use. By loosening the thumbscrew on the brackets, users can rotate the clamps out of the way if the sawhorses need to be used without them.
