Stationary Tools: Kalamazoo KM10HS Miter Saw
The Kalamazoo Industries model KM10HS 10-inch high-speed miter saw is optimized for cutting aluminum, brass, plastic and other relatively soft, non-ferrous materials. The saw uses carbide tipped blades (not included) and miters 45° left, 60° right and can cut up to 4-1/2-in. at 90°, 4-in. x 3-1/4-in. at 45°, and 2-1/4-in. at 60°.
Features of the KM10HS include 3450 RPM spindle speed, 5/8-in. spindle arbor, sealed ball bearings, V-belt drive, dual cam-lock vises, an OSHA safety blade guard and a manual switch.
The saw measures 25” L x 24” W x 17” H and is available with either a 3-hp, 3-phase 220/440V TEFC motor or a 3-hp single-phase 220V motor.
