Fastenal's May Sales Up 8.3 Percent
May sales climbed to $313.5 million, compared to $289.4 million in 2013.
Fastenal reported that its May sales climbed 8.3 percent to $313.5 million, compared to $289.4 million in 2013.
Daily sales jumped 13.5 percent to $14.9 million, compared to $13.1 million the year before.
Sales to manufacturing customers grew by 12.9 percent for the month, while sales to non-residential construction customers grew by 8.4 percent.
The company opened three new stores during the month, and employee headcount increased by 15.9 percent to 17,976 employees.
