Distributors and manufacturers team up to help Camp Fire victims

California Service Tool and Apex Tool Group ask for industry help to provide Camp Fire area contractors with tools and supplies.

The Contractors Tool Replacement Program for the Paradise, CA Camp Fire victims is asking distirbutors and manufacturers across the nation for their help.

Craig Larue of California Service Tool, and Jon Richards, sales operations manager for Apex Tool Group are teaming up with Valley Contractors Exchange, a nonprofit 501c6 that helps contractors with resources for business, safety training and compliance.

They are asking your support to reach out to suppliers to donate tools, equipment or supplies to this event. Suppliers will receive a tax deduction for their donation. Please encourage vendors to provide their logo banners to hang above their donation for pictures, video and press opportunities.

Last year in Santa Rosa, Apex Tool Group, CEP, PLS Laser, Nupla and many others teamed up with North Coast Builders exchange and raised over $350,000 in tool donations. Here is a video that captures the essence of the event. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grHjomZtX1E

Sadly, the Paradise Fire is three times the size of last year’s fire and rescue efforts need all the help they can get to help get contractors back to work rebuilding the community.

If you wish to support this worthwhile effort, here’s what you need to do:

Ship products & supplies to: Valley Contractors Exchange – Tool Replacement Program, 629 Entler Avenue, Suite 29, Chico, CA 95928.

Shipments must arrive by December 27th and we ask that donors email what is being donated and when for our logistics.

Contact Elizabeth Carter at (530) 343-1981, elizabeth@vceonline.com.

The Event will be Friday January 4th and Saturday January 5th. More dates will be added as needed.
