JLG Unveils Enhanced Website

The modernized site focuses on key pillars that elevate the overall online experience, including intuitive navigation, enhanced personalization, focus on innovation and strengthened messaging.

Key Enhancements

The new JLG.com features several customer-focused improvements aimed at making information more accessible and actionable, including:

  • Enhanced Navigation: The site’s navigation has been restructured to improve wayfinding, enabling users to quickly access essential resources like manuals, BIM files, spec sheets and brochures. A consolidated site search allows seamless browsing across JLG.com and Online Express, the company’s e-commerce platform.
  • Product Hubs: A new feature connects product specifications with additional offerings such as training, parts purchasing, troubleshooting and accessories. These hubs offer a holistic view of each machine, making it easier for customers to access relevant resources in one place.
  • Equipment Selector: A new “Equipment Selector” tool helps users identify the right machine for their job application by providing personalized recommendations based on specific needs.
  • Content Personalization: By personalizing content for different audience segments, the site delivers relevant information to users, whether they're first-time visitors or experienced fleet managers.
  • Innovation and Thought Leadership: The site now prominently features JLG’s cutting-edge innovations, including ClearSky Smart Fleet Internet of Things (IoT) technology, new machine offerings and insights through the corporate blog, #DirectAccess.
  • Full Machine Lifecycle: JLG’s role as a one-stop shop for the entire machine lifecycle is highlighted, further highlighting the company’s competitive advantages.

A deep understanding of customer needs and preferences drove the development of the new JLG.com. This process included conducting thorough interviews with customers and internal stakeholders and creating detailed customer journey maps to make sure the site met expectations at every touchpoint. JLG also conducted multiple rounds of usability testing to validate its design decisions, ensuring the new site offers an intuitive, seamless experience.
