Backed by a dedicated team of engineers and product consultants in research and development, Jepson Power has been breaking new ground in metalworking for more than 40 years.
The company is constantly refining its products to meet the ever-changing needs of the industry.
“Our daily incentive is to cut faster, increase tool life, and cover more demanding cutting applications,” said Pierre Michiels, CEO of Jepson Power. “Innovation for us means constantly improving our products with user-centric design and top-tier service.
It’s latest engineering feat; the Premium Super Dry Miter Cutter 9414 will be on display at the 2025 STAFDA convention.
“The 9414 isn’t just another tool, it’s the culmination of 40 years of German engineering, research, and field-tested innovation,” Michiels said. “Whether in the hands of fabricators, installers, or production teams, this machine delivers performance that professionals can count on.”
The Premium Super Dry Miter Cutter 9414 combines the raw cutting strength of a chop saw with the angular versatility of a miter saw, while maintaining the signature dry cutter advantages that define Jepson’s legacy.
“It’s our mission to keep pushing boundaries and set new benchmarks in the industry,” Michiels said. “The 9414 embodies that vision and we’re just getting started.”

Jepson Power’s technological journey began in the 1980s with the Premium Dry Cutter 9430 chop saw. Equipped with a 12-inch blade and a 15-amp motor, the saw set a new standard for cutting metal.
Maintaining its position as a market leader, the follow-up model, the Premium Super Dry Cutter 9435, pushed the envelope even further with a larger saw blade and more power. Through the years, the saws have continually been updated with advanced stabilizers, stronger motors and improved blades.
The early 2000s saw the launched of Jepson Power’s Dry Miter Cutter 9410, it’s first venture into miter saws, offering precise angle cuts for professionals seeking more versatility.
As customer needs evolved, so did Jepson’s product line. The early 2000s saw the launch of the company’s first venture into miter saws — offering precise angle cuts for professionals needing more versatility. Though it sacrificed some power compared to the 9435, it provided a much-needed option for complex, angled cuts.
Now, Jepson Power has merged power and precision into a single, all-encompassing solution, the Premium Super Dry Miter Cutter 9414.
One of the largest saws in its class, the 9414 is powered by a 15-amp motor and comes with a 14-inch 90T carbide blade designed for cutting steel and stainless steel. With the dry cutting operation, there is no need for lubrication or de-burring as it cuts cleanly and accurately through structural steel, stainless steel to aluminum, plastics, and composites.
Featuring Jepson’s patented blade stabilizers, the 9414 also includes a 3-point locking mechanism for optimal sawing positions for different material sizes and adjustable miter angles between -45° and +45° results providing maximum flexibility.
