The optrel Helix Pure Air and Clearmaxx Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) for welding and grinding are now available through MSA Safety on an exclusive basis. The Helix CLT PAPR welding helmet is a fully integrated slide-up welding helmet with an auto-darkening filter (ADF) ranging from shades 4-12. The internal welding visor allows for welding and grinding while maintaining the same low profile in a wide range of welding conditions and spaces. The lightweight PAPR features three blower speeds with low flow and low battery alarms. The NIOSH-approved type HE/HEPA filter can be easily integrated with prefilters to extend its life.
