Owens Corning PINK Next Gen Fiberglas Insulation Earns 2021 Product Innovation Award

Architectural Products Magazine names PINK a winner for as one of the most innovative construction products.

Owens Corning has announced its PINK Next Gen™ Fiberglas™ insulation was selected by Architectural Products Magazine as a winner of its 2021 Product Innovation Awards (PIA). Recognizing the most innovative products across the full spectrum of the building industry, PINK Next Gen Fiberglas earned a PIA for providing a precise, safe and sustainable insulation solution.

Evaluated by a distinguished panel of 19 design and building products experts, the awards recognize manufacturers of innovative products based on their attributes, functionality and performance above and beyond industry standards.

“We are honored to receive recognition for our PINK Next Gen Fiberglas insulation in Architectural Products’ Product Innovation Awards,” said Joe Wagner, Insulation marketing director. “It offers our contractors a superior installation experience and benefits homeowners with increased comfort and safe, proven ingredients.”

Designed with Owens Corning’s advanced fiber technology, PINK Next Gen Fiberglas insulation forms a protective blanket of insulating micro-pockets, reducing sound transmission and trapping air to improve indoor comfort. The insulation’s network of tightly woven, soft, fine fibers also provides a texture as soft as cotton that resists shedding and reduces clean-up for easy and efficient installation.

Offering installers and homeowners peace of mind, PINK Next Gen Fiberglas requires no hazardous chemicals to be mixed on-site and is Underwriter Laboratories (UL) GREENGUARD certified for low volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Delivering installation speeds up to 23% faster than existing Owens Corning fiberglass products, PINK Next Gen Fiberglas insulation was created to help manage tight timelines and is ideal for smaller installation crews. Featuring exceptional recovery and enhanced stiffness, the insulation glides into the wall cavity and can easily be cut and split around wires and boxes. It also helps pass inspections more easily thanks to its visibly smooth surface.
