White Cap, DEWALT partner to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

White Cap, a distributor of specialty construction supplies and safety products for professional contractors, and DEWALT, a Stanley Black & Decker brand and provider of total jobsite solutions, announce a fourth annual partnership supporting the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: Finding cures. Saving children.

On Sunday, Oct. 18, at Phoenix Raceway, DEWALT and White Cap presented a combined $175,000 donation to St. Jude. Throughout October, DEWALT will contribute an additional $25,000 through the purchase of select DEWALT products at participating White Cap branches.

In recognition of this ongoing partnership and with support from Joe Gibbs Racing, the No. 20 DEWALT Toyota driven by Christopher Bell will feature special St. Jude-themed co-branding with White Cap. The race car will also showcase artwork created by Reid, an 11-year-old St. Jude patient who loves sports and the Oklahoma Sooners. Reid worked closely with the Joe Gibbs Racing design team to bring his vision to life and, along with his parents and sisters, will be honored guests throughout race weekend.

"Supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital alongside DEWALT has become a meaningful tradition for White Cap, and we are proud to mark our fourth year of partnership," said White Cap CEO Alan Sollenberger. "This effort reflects the generosity of our associates, customers and partners, all coming together to help make a difference for children and families facing cancer and other life-threatening diseases. We are honored to contribute to the St. Jude mission and to celebrate inspiring patients like Reid through this one-of-a-kind experience."

"Supporting St. Jude through this program is a meaningful expression of what DEWALT values: showing up, giving back and using our platform to help others," said Maria Ford, president, U.S. Commercial & Industrial Sales, Stanley Black & Decker. "Our continued work with White Cap and Joe Gibbs Racing reflects a shared commitment to making a real difference. Reid's design on the No. 20 DEWALT car adds a powerful human element to this year's effort and is a visual representation of impact in action."

"We're grateful to White Cap, DEWALT and Joe Gibbs Racing for bringing this unique collaboration to life in support of St. Jude," said Ike Anand, president and CEO of ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude. "Seeing patient Reid's artwork featured so prominently in the world of racing is a powerful reminder that children facing cancer and other life-threatening diseases deserve the chance to live their best lives and enjoy every moment. Support from partners like these helps ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, allowing them to focus on helping their child live."
