Starrett Appoints New Leadership Team
A former president of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation has been appointed as the new CEO of the now privately held L.S. Starrett Co.

Roger N. Amrol succeeds Douglas A. Starrett, whose career spanned 48 years, as president and CEO. He joins the company after 12 years with Bosch, where he was president for five years. Also, while at Borsch, Amrol served four years as president of SKIL North America for four years and three years leading the North American Accessories Business Unit.
In addition to the appointment of Amrol as president, three other executive positions within L.S. Starrett Co. were filled, in hopes of strengthening the corporate management team at the highest level.
The new executives will be based out of Starrett corporate headquarters in Athol, MA, bringing a wealth of manufacturing industry experience, leadership and skills to Starrett as the company focuses on continuous improvement, growth and innovation.
Appointed as chief operating officer, Barry D. Laughlin brings extensive manufacturing operations experience to Starrett and looks forward to applying his vision and skills to meet the company’s initiatives by implementing day-to-day business strategies and plans.

Most recently, Laughlin served as COO with Group DEKKO for nine years after being promoted from executive vice president of operations. Prior to that, he was in an operations contract role at Caterpillar and held various positions with Navistar.
Allen E. Look has been brought on as global chief Information officer. He has over 25 years of information technology experience, with skills ranging from business leadership, operational excellence, data analysis and cybersecurity proficiency. Before joining Starrett, Look held global CIO roles for six years at privately and publicly held companies including FBG and Hayward Holdings, Inc.
Lastly, Jon-Michael Raymond, who has 17 years of experience in the sales and financial sides of the industrial market space, was appointed as chief revenue officer.
