NetPlus Alliance Unveils Annual Award Winners at 2025 Annual Meeting

“Empowering Excellence” was the theme for the 2025 NetPlus Alliance Annual Meeting held in National Harbor, Maryland from Sept. 28-30.

More than 750 attendees, representing 173 distributors and 157 supply companies,  gathered for the meeting, which centered around guiding members toward intentional strategies for growth and future-focused processes to enhance the value of an independent distributor.

“For more than 20 years, NetPlus has been the bridge, connecting our members to stronger partnerships, better performance, and lasting advantage,” said Jennifer Murphy, NetPlus Alliance president & CEO at the meeting. “Our team is dedicated to delivering programs and benefits uniquely designed to support growth, empower teams, and enhance profitability for NetPlus distributors."

The meeting featured workshops with industry experts with which members and partners could engage and consider next steps to fit their unique needs and goals.

In addition, there were educational workshop on digital transformation. There were also tailored networking opportunities for industry professionals looking to collaborate and share best practices as leaders in title or practice.

Year-to-date, Murphy said the group’s distributor purchases from NetPlus suppliers are up 7%, and distributor members remain optimistic for 2025 full-year sales.

In addition, the three-year average group growth stands at 20%, highlighting a consistent upward trajectory.

As part of the Annual Meeting, NetPlus Alliance also presented its annual member awards during the event.

ORS Nasco CEO Kevin Short was recognized with the Dan Judge Founder’s Award, which is given to a distributor or supplier who exemplifies the group’s core purpose, is an advocate for NetPlus, and is passionate about industrial distribution.

The 2024 Growth Plus All In New Business Award was presented to Alfa Tools and MRO Systems. The award acknowledges the strategic plan between a supplier and distributor to expand into new product categories and achieve the greatest new-business growth in the prior fiscal year.

Astra Communications and Cross Country Infrastructure Services USA received the 2024 Growth Plus Sales Growth Award, which recognizes a distributor and supplier that executed a Growth Plus plan and achieved the largest volume in an existing relationship.

The 2024 Growth Plus Conversion Champion Award acknowledges the largest Growth Plus conversion plan between a distributor and supplier and was awarded to Krylon Products Group and Alabama Construction Supply.

For exceptional execution of a strategic marketing plan with NetPlus Alliance while collaborating with NetPlus distributor members, Protective Industrial Products was presented the 2024 Marketing Excellence Award.

Two suppliers were honored with the 2024 MVP Supplier of the Year. Milwaukee Tool was recognized for same-stores growth of 23% year-over-year and the addition of four distributors. In addition, ORS Nasco for 17% year-over-year growth and addition of 11 distributors.

The 2024 MVP Supplier of the Year Tier II was presented to Apex Tool Group for 28% year-over-year growth and the addition of 20 new distributors and the 2024 MVP Supplier of the Year Tier III was presented to Gregory Industries, who earned 57%, year-over-year, and the addition of three new distributors. 

For distributors, award winners included Allredi for 2024 MVP Distributor of the Year Tier I for same-store growth of 34% year-over-year. The 2024 MVP Distributor of the Year Tier II was presented to Ohio Power Tool, acknowledging same-stores growth of 22%, year-over-year, and the addition of three new suppliers and the 2024 MVP Distributor of the Year Tier III was presented to Parker Industrial Supply, acknowledging same-stores growth of 39%, year-over-year, and the addition of eight new suppliers. 

Representatives of a distributor and supplier committed to the continued growth of their companies and actively involved in that success through engagement and commitment to NetPlus, Matt Hohmann, CEO of Anchor Distributing, and Matt Dedeluk, vice president of sales and marketing at Pro Line Products were feted with the 2025 Partnership Excellence Awards acknowledge.

Gogel Fastener and Industrial Supply Co. were recognized with the 2025 NetPlus Scholar Award as a distribution company that completed a minimum of 200 NetPlus Academy courses available on BlueVolt.

For conducting training in 2025, achieving the highest post-survey ratings and contributing to the growth of new or existing sales via an interactive webinar for NetPlus Members, Klein Tools was recognized with the 2025 Top Training of the Year Award.

The 2026 NetPlus Alliance Annual Meeting is scheduled for October 17-20, 2026, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
