Malco Debuts New Tools at METALCON 2025
Malco Tools unveiled several new tools at METALCON 2025.

New products making their debut at the show included new Drip Edge Folding Tools, expanded hex sizes for the 7-in-1 C-RHEX Flip Bit and the TurboShear Rotary Panel Cutter.

Drip Edge Folding Tools
Malco’s Drip Edge Folding Tools (DEFT) are engineered for fast, accurate bends along the drip edge of standing seam metal roofing panels.
Available in 16, 18, and 24-inch lengths, these hand tools feature rib-reinforced steel plates and a high-leverage, ergonomic design to deliver clean, consistent folds in up to 22-gauge steel.
Each tool creates precise 1 inch (25.4 mm) and 1-1/2 inch (38.1 mm) deep bends for maximum versatility on the job.

The Malco 7-in-1 C-RHEX Flip Bit has seven functions built into its compact size. The C-RHEX Flip Bit is engineered to make driving fasteners more secure with a strong magnet that reduces wobbling, slipping and tippin out, ensuring jobs get done correctly and efficiently, while sockets fit snugly on the driver shaft for more secure operation and storage.
Three integrated driver head options are featured with the 7-in-1 C-RHEX Flip Bit, including a #2 Phillips, #2 Robertson (square) and T25 (star), along with six different cleanable, reversible hex sizes.
Malco recently expanded the 7-in-1 C-RHEX Flip Bit line to incorporate new hex sizes, including 1/4 inch and 5/16 inch; 3/8 inch and 7/16 inch; 1/2 inch and 9/16 inch.
The new sizes are available along with the original hex sizes including 1/4 inch and 5/16 inch; 3/8 inch and 11/32 inch; and 7/16 inch and 1/2 inch.
TurboShear Rotary Panel Cutter

Designed for metal construction professionals, Malco Tool’s TurboShear Rotary Panel Cutter (TSPC1) features dual opposing cutting wheels, designed to self-advance the tool smoothly through metal and vinyl material, leaving a clean, precise cut.
In Malco’s in-house testing, the TurboShear Rotary Panel Cutter outperformed competitor’s tools in a variety of measures, including its ability to cut corrugated ag panels, overall cut control, price and ease of replacing cutting discs.
Unlike some all-in-one solutions on the market, the TurboShear Rotary Panel Cutter allows operators to use their own drill. Designed exclusively for brushless drills, the tool integrates seamlessly into a pro’s setup, reducing bulk and increasing convenience.
The rotary action provides a self-advancing cut, letting the tool do the work and reducing hand fatigue associated with forcing blades through metal.
In addition, a clear sight line allows pros to see exactly where they’re cutting, ensuring clean, straight cuts every time and a smooth, quieter operation.
The cutter’s hardened high-strength alloy steel cutting discs are replaceable, and can handle a variety of materials, including 22-gauge steel, 26-gauge stainless steel, .04-inch aluminum and .055-inch (1.4mm) vinyl siding.
