RIDGID Unveils Its Most Powerful Wet/Dry Vacuum
RIDGID has launched its most powerful vacuum in its retail wet/dry line, the new 16 Gallon 7.0 Peak HP NXT Power Wet/Dry Vacuum.

The new vacuum produces 396 air watts of suction power and achieves 202 cubic feet per minute with 7.0 peak horsepower for reliable performance in demanding jobs. The 7.0 Peak HP NXT Power delivers 25% more power compared to RIDGID 6.0 Peak HP NXT vacuums.
“RIDGID’s wet/dry vacuum program was upgraded with efficiency, power, CFM and lift improvements a few years ago. Now, the NXT Power vac further boosts the results we bring to the jobsite,” said Steven Carrow, director of engineering for Emerson’s RIDGID wet/dry vacuums. “Pros can pick-up more debris in less time. We have seen this vacuum deliver a 40% performance improvement when tackling common jobsite debris versus our prior most powerful unit.”
Engineered for heavy jobsite debris pickup, the 7.0 Peak HP NXT Power vacuum can clean up water, rocks, drywall chunks, construction sediment, bolts and nails with ease. It features a large, jobsite-durable, 16-gallon two-piece drum.
The unit is also equipped with a new durable 7-foot locking Pro Hose with a large 2 1/2-inch diameter opening for increased pickup power and clear passage of large debris.
To aid in maneuverability over cords and rough terrain, the vac features a purpose-built cart design with RIDGID’s largest, tough rear wheels, and robust front wheel casters. It also ships with 2-1/2-in. NXT Max locking accessories, part of the Swap.Lock.Clean attachment system, an upgraded set of wet/dry vac accessory tools with swappable shoes that adapt to user needs for any cleanup job.
