Hartmann Building Specialties Acquires New Locations in Louisiana
Hartmann Building Specialties announced the acquisition of Contractors Supply and Equipment’s (CSE) two locations in Baton Rouge and La Place, Louisiana.

The transaction closed on November 1, 2025.
This strategic purchase expands Hartmann Building Specialties’ footprint in the high-growth Louisiana industrial market. CSE will now operate under the Hartmann Building Specialties banner, adding two established distribution centers and an experienced team to the company.
Contractors Supply and Equipment was assisted in the transaction by The Distribution Team, a specialized advisory firm based in Bend, Oregon, with expertise in distribution and wholesale mergers and acquisitions.
The firm provided comprehensive guidance throughout the process, ensuring a smooth and successful transition for all parties involved. Hartman Building Specialties continues to focus on growth and innovation in the building materials industry, with a dedication to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Headquartered in Beaumont, Texas, Hartman Building Specialties is a distributor of building materials, tools, fabricated rebar, and specialty products serving contractors and builders across the Gulf Coast.
