SupplyCo Acquires Two More Partners After November Launch
An industrial supply company formed via a private equity backed combination of two Pennsylvania companies has added two more entities to its partnership.

SupplyCo, an industrial supply platform focused on providing technical service and solutions for operationally essential products across applications formed with the partnership between Huston Group, and Gallaway Safety & Supply., has added Precision Abrasives and D&S Tool & Supply to the company’s development partnership.
News of the additional acquisitions came from Tecum Equity Alpha Management LLC and the Armstrong Group of Companies, who led the original merger.
"Through our experience operating and investing in manufacturing businesses, we understand the importance of these essential products to our customers' operations,” said Stephen Gurgovits, Tecum managing partner. “In SupplyCo, we see an opportunity to establish a platform to provide a broader depth of products while maintaining leading technical knowledge and customer support.”
Gurgovits said Tecum Equity is actively supporting the company's next phase of growth by expanding product offerings, investing in additional inventory management solutions, hiring additional technical sales and application engineer leaders, and evaluating strategic acquisitions.
The additional of Precision Abrasives and D&S Tool and Supply furthers the growth of the new company.
SupplyCo reportedly will be launching a new name and brand in early 2026.

Established in 1987, Precision Abrasives is headquartered in Zelienople, PA, situated north of Pittsburgh, and conducts business providing engineered abrasive solutions throughout the United States.
“The partnership with like-minded operators in Huston, Gallaway, D&S, Armstrong Group, and Tecum allows us to build on our Company’s foundational core beliefs of being technical leaders in the market and by focusing on the long-term decisions for our business,” said Ron Divers, president of Precision Abrasives.
He further emphasized the positive reception from suppliers and customers, highlighting that joining the SupplyCo team has reinforced Precision Abrasives’ commitment to delivering exceptional value.
