Honda Showcases Diverse Power Options at World of Concrete 2026
Honda Power Sports & Products kicked off 2026 at World of Concrete showcasing a diverse portfolio of power solutions and advancements designed to support the commercial construction industry.

At the company’s exhibit, the Honda team illustrated its commitment to scalable electrification and future battery development, including advancements for the Honda eGX platform, the company’s first advanced electric power unit for professional equipment.
The display included the battery evolution for the eGX2.0H, highlighted by a 60% higher-capacity battery designed to support longer continuous operation and increased application flexibility.
In addition, Honda experts detailed expansion plans for the eGX lineup, including eGX4.0 and eGX6.0 model concepts designed to address higher output classes for commercial and construction applications.
Together, the Honda eGX modular units and next-generation product concepts on display illustrated the company’s focus on developing higher-capacity, battery-powered solutions that reduce noise and emissions, extend operating times for increased productivity, and remain easy for users to handle.
Another integral element of Honda’s vision for electrified construction power was the presentation of the concept Mobile Power Pack e, a swappable battery system designed to be shared across OEM customer products.
Featuring advanced cell technology, the Mobile Power Pack e delivers higher output with reduced noise, zero exhaust emissions, lower installed battery weight and near-zero downtime, supporting continuous operation in both indoor and outdoor jobsite
Complimenting Honda’s focus on diversification of its power solutions, the all-new Honda iGX430 gas-powered engine was featured, as the expansion of the company’s GX Series.
Equipped with smart fuel injection (FI) technology and an integrated electronic self-tuning regulator (STR) governor, the horizontal-shaft iGX430 provides drive-by-wire remote-control capability to manage key aspects of engine operation. The new model is designed to adapt to fluctuating power demands of commercial applications with a controller area network that integrates with equipment for seamless operation also providing enhanced ease of use, productivity and serviceability for OEM manufacturers and contractors.
