Makita unveils new Makita 40V max XGT 4-Speed High Torque 3/4-inch Square Drive Extended Anvil Impact Wrench.

“Makita is expanding the 40V XGT impact wrench lineup with the new Extended Anvil Impact Wrench,” said Robert Monroe, Makita product manager, drilling, fastening and expansion. “The GWT11 was engineered to allow users to handle high-torque fasteners in hard-to-reach places, without having to use an extension that can add extra wear to the impact wrench or cause any torque loss”

Monroe says the new Extended Anvil Impact Wrench is an ideal solution for pros who perform repeated, high-torque applications.

The GWT11 features a Makita-built brushless motor that delivers 1,400 ft. lbs. of Nut-Busting Torque and 1,110 ft. lbs. of Fastening Torque with extended anvil. It features 3 forward modes and 1 reverse Auto-Stop mode for increased efficiency.

Featuring a 4-speed power selection switch up  (0-500 / 0-700 / 0-1,100 / 0-1,800 RPM & mpact* / 0-1,400 / 0-2,000 / 0-2,600 IPM), the tool is engineered for a wide range of applications. It also features a full speed mode function that reduces the trigger pull to reach full speed.

The tool also features dual L.E.D. lights, one below the anvil and one on the tool’s foot for added illumination in low light environments and reinforced gear housing.
