| The Makita 18V LXT Autofeed Screwdriver offers fastening speeds that can handle drywall, decking and framing applications. |
“The LXT Screwdriver delivers superior fastening speed, with the convenience of Push Drive Technology,” said Wayne Hart, Makita senior communications manager. “Users get speed, power and convenience for drywall, decking, framing and more.”
On a single charge, the screwdriver can drive up to 2,670 screws.
The XRF04 features Push Drive Technology, which allows the user to stay in lock-on mode for greater efficiency. In lock-on mode the motor starts only when the fastener engages for longer run time and reduces motor noise
With a brushless motor, the tool delivers fastening speeds (0-4,500 RPM) sufficient to handle a variety of drywall, decking and framing applications. The electronically controlled brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application.
Weighing only 4.9 pounds and only 15 5/8 inches long, the screwdriver is compact and ergonomically designed. It also features an integrated autofeed design to make the tool lighter and more compact. The autofeed housing is engineered with a screwless one-touch hook for effortless attachment and removal.
It features an ergonomically designed handle with a rubberized grip that increases user comfort and a reversible belt clip that can attach to either side of the tool. Lastly, it includes a durable compact screw guide that prevents screw strip tangling.
