Makita Expands Line of Concrete Tools
Expanding its line of concrete-related tools, Makita has unveiled the Power Cutter Water Supply Hose Assembly Kit.

The new kit connects Makita sprayers to power cutters to deliver a consist water supply for dust suppression and blade cooling while performing concrete cuts.
"The new Water Hose Assembly Kit gives concrete pros a cleaner, and more efficient way to work,” said Stevan Garcia, Makita senior product manager, outdoor power equipment. “By integrating directly with Makita power cutters and sprayers it helps control dust when cutting, it saves time compared to manual water delivery systems and makes the overall cutting process more productive.”
Garcia said it is an important part of an OSHA-compliant system for concrete cutting.
Makita offers battery-powered 9 inch and 14-inch power cutters that deliver the performance of gas-powered models but with lower noise, less maintenance and no pull starts, as well as the ability to work indoors since there are no emissions.
In addition, Makita offers battery-powered water sprayers that may be connected to Makita power cutters with the new water hose, creating a portable and pump-free system for OSHA-compliant concrete cutting.
