Featuring a temperature-resistant coating on the blade teeth, Challenger Edge Lock delivers higher cutting productivity without sacrificing blade life.
“Structural cutting deals with a variety of material shapes, most with numerous entry points for the teeth,” said Joseph Tarr, industrial product manager at M. K. Morse Company. “This means more heat and stress on the blade, which can lead to stripped teeth, loud cuts, and reduced blade life.”,
The unique tooth shape on the Challenger Edge Lock blade is designed to prevent stripping and reduce vibration when tackling high-speed cutting of structural shapes, free machining steel, and interrupted or bundle cuts.
“The innovative coating featured on Challenger Edge Lock offers better impact and temperature resistance, giving users a blade that can withstand these challenging cuts and deliver more efficiency in their work environment,” Tarr said.
Metal service centers, production facilities, tool shops, steel structure fabricators, and fabrication shops can rely on the same quality they have seen from Morse’s original Challenger blade, but with extended life, fewer blade changes, and higher efficiency.
