The new 40V max XGT 2-Pc. Combo Kit (GT202SU1D1) now features Makita’s Hammer Driver Drill (GPH03), a 40V max XGT High Torque 4-Speed Impact Driver (GDT04Z), as well as a 40V max XGT 4.0Ah High Power Battery (BL4040F), a 40V max XGT Fast Charger (DC40RC), and a tool bag.

The 3-speed 1/2-inch Hammer Driver Drill is the company’s most powerful hammer driver drill, providing 1,590 in. lbs. of maximum torque with a three-speed transmission. In hammer-drill mode it applies a percussive motion for drilling holes in concrete or masonry.

It features an electronic digital clutch that targets the desired torque range during fastening, with 41 settings in low speed, 30 settings in medium, 21 settings in high. It includes three speed settings for drilling, 0-650 / 0-1,800 / 0-2,600 RPM or 0-9,750 / 0-27,000 / 0-36,000 IPM.

As the combo, the 40V max XGT 4-Speed Impact Driver (GDT04) gives the user compact fastening power, while delivering up to 2,040 in.lbs. of maximum torque outpowering similar models in heavy load applications.

In addition, the GDT04 features digitally controlled modes for a wide variety of applications to prevent sheet metal screw stripping.
