The new nailers and stapler add new dimensions to the tool arsenal of professional framers, carpenters, homebuilders and more.

“Makita is a leader in the woodworking category and continues to expand the XGT and LXT platforms with tools and equipment that pros use every day,” said Fernando Serratos, Makita product marketing manager, residential construction. “With the release of the new framing nailers and staplers Makita is giving pros tools in their arsenal that deliver the power of pneumatic, can drive nails into dense engineered lumber, and can travel around a job site without the limitations of an air hose.”

He noted that with the new lineup, pros can reach to Makita tools for a wide range of nailing and stapling applications.

The tools feature anti-slip, slim nose design for controlled nailing in confined areas and odd angles. Different models may also feature a non-marring rubber nose, and bumpers to protect the wood surface from being scratched or damaged and includes two removable no-mar tips with convenient on-tool storage.

Each also include a “tool-less" depth adjustment engineered for more precise flush and countersink nailing.

In addition, several of the tools feature two-mode selector switches that allows the operator to select sequential nailing or bump fire options.

Convenience features on all the new products include a built-in L.E.D. light that illuminates the work area, a belt hook with a retractable extra-wide tool hook that secures the tool when not in use, and an ergonomically designed handle with a rubberized soft grip that provides increased user comfort.
