The new saw is ideal for baseboard and crown molding installation, finish carpenters, cabinet and furniture makers, wood floor installers, deck builders, general construction and more.
“Makita is synonymous with quality woodworking tools and continues to develop new tools to get the job done,” said Fernando Serratos, Makita product marketing manager, residential construction. “The new 10-inch Slide Compound Miter Saw gives users multiple miter settings, features a powerful motor, and compact and lightweight for portability on the job site.”
The new saw features a compact and lightweight design for jobsite portability. It is powered by a 13.0 AMP direct drive motor that requires less maintenance and delivers cutting speeds of up to 4,500 RPM.
In addition, with a compact design, the tool weighs only 36.2 pounds.
The LS1110F can cut miters from 0 degrees to 47 degrees left and 0 degrees to 47 degrees right, with positive stops at 0 degrees, 15 degrees, 22.5 degrees, 31.6 degrees, 45 degrees and 47 degrees (left and right). It cuts up to 12 inches at 90 degrees and 8-1/2 inches at 45 degrees and features a see-through blade guard system for greater visibility of the blade and line of cut and a 2 1/2-inch-tall fence system for increased vertical cutting capability.
Convenience features on Makita’s 10-inch Slide Compound Miter Saw include a soft start feature for smooth start-ups, a built-in L.E.D. light that illuminates the line of cut for increased accuracy, as well as an ergonomic rubberized D-handle design for a better fit and added comfort.
