BILCO Promotes Gedert to Sales Manager
The BILCO Company announced the promotion of Chris Gedert to sales manager for the company’s residential products.

Gedert, who joined BILCO in 1998, previously served as a regional sales manager.
In his expanded role, Gedert will oversee the company sales of basement doors and egress window wells and manage the independent sales representative network.
“My goal is to build a strong sales representative network that will allow us to gain market share and expand sales into unserved regions of the country.’’ Gedert said. “I would also like to gain a bigger footprint farther west into the Colorado and Utah markets while still servicing our current distributor partners.”
BILCO, which is celebrating its 100th year in business, is the national sales leader in basement doors.
“Quality distinguishes BILCO in the residential marketplace, and customer service is a close second,’’ Gedert said. “Our customers stay loyal, knowing if there is an issue, it will be addressed and taken care of.”
During his employment with BILCO, Gedert has seen the business evolve from a family-owned business to a much larger enterprise that is now part of Quanex, a global leader in building product solutions.
“Everyone knows the BILCO name and it is respected throughout the industry,” Gedert said. “It is our job to educate our customers about what we offer and why our products set the industry standard.”
