Bon Tool Expands Product Capabilities Via Acquisitions
Bon Tool Co. has continued to expand its product portfolio with the recent acquisitions of Artcrete and Haivala Concrete Tools.

“Bringing Artcrete and Haivala™ into the Bon Tool family allows us to serve contractors more completely—from surface prep to final finish,” said Dan Rice, national sales manager, “Even in a more measured market, we see opportunity to invest in product development and deliver real value to our customers.”
Over the past year, Bon Tool has integrated Artcrete into its Decorative Concrete division, Bonway, significantly expanding offerings in surface design and finishing systems.
Subsequently, the addition of Haivala’s finishing tool line enhances Bon Tool’s footprint in concrete flatwork with time-tested designs trusted by professionals.

With expanded manufacturing integration underway at Bon Tool’s Gibsonia, Pennsylvania facility and enhanced distribution through its three U.S. locations, the company is positioned to deliver faster service and broader product availability nationwide.
Through the Artcrete integration, Bon Tool now offers a comprehensive range of decorative, surface and vertical enhancement solutions, including:
- Decorative Concrete Stencils available in full rolls, half rolls, mini rolls, and specialty patterns
- Plaster and Stucco Adhesive Stencil Sheets in .045" and .022" thicknesses, as well as roll formats
- Advanced Overlay Resin Systems for resurfacing and customization
- Surface1 Concrete Finishing Aid, designed to extend workable surface time and improve finish quality
- Enhanced blending capabilities, allowing contractors to mix and match color hardeners and release agents for unique finishes
These additions enable contractors to achieve more customized, high-quality finishes across both concrete and vertical applications.
