Milwaukee Tool Unveils World's First Cordless Hammer Chisel
Milwaukee Tool continues to remove the limitations of pneumatic tools with the introduction of the M18 FUEL STRIKER Hammer Chisel, the world’s first cordless hammer chisel designed for professional service technicians.

Built to replace long barrel air hammers in the shop, this new solution delivers full pneumatic striking performance without the need for a compressor or air hose, giving technicians the freedom to tear down suspensions, remove seized components, and complete demanding work faster and with greater control.
“This level of performance allows technicians to confidently move away from air tools without sacrificing productivity,” said Ryan Mack, group manager of product marketing at Milwaukee Tool. “By delivering long barrel pneumatic striking force in a cordless solution, we focused on eliminating the frustrations of hoses while maintaining the power, consistency, and control technicians rely on every day in the shop.”
Delivering long barrel pneumatic power without the constraints of air, the M18 FUEL STRIKER Hammer Chisel gives technicians the confidence to tackle the toughest jobs at full speed.
Powered by a POWERSTATE brushless motor, the chisel generates 7 joules of striking force, matching the output of leading long barrel pneumatic hammers operating at 145 PSI, enabling aggressive material removal and consistent impact energy across applications.
The M18 FUEL STRIKER hammer chisel allows technicians to remove ball joints and seized components at the same speed as pneumatic solutions.
A twist-style chuck supports quick and easy bit changes while remaining fully compatible with all .401 inch round shank accessories, allowing users to move seamlessly between applications without slowing down.
In addition, it features a variable speed trigger paired with three selectable modes gives users precise control over striking output, including a ramp up mode that gradually increases impact speed from 0 to 3,000 BPM when the trigger is fully engaged.
Also, targeted LED lighting improves visibility in tight work areas, while REDLINK PLUS Intelligence helps protect the tool and battery during high demand applications.
For further versatility, Milwaukee also unveiled a new 5-piece hammer chisel bit set and the M18 FUEL STRIKER hammer chisel protective boot.
All five bits in the set feature features a universal .401-inch round shank, making them compatible with the new hammer chisel. The protective boot helps safeguard the solution and surrounding work surfaces during operation, featuring a lightweight, durable rubber construction engineered to withstand exposure to corrosive materials commonly found in transportation maintenance, fleet service, and industrial environments.
