OZ Lifting’s Parker Hale, Steve Napieralski, Richard Miller and Ashley Blum will talk attendees through a new line of stainless steel davit cranes, components and accessories at WEFTEC.

WEFTEC takes places September 26-30 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana. OZ Lifting will be located at Booth 2429.

A regular exhibitor at WEFTEC, OZ Lifting will be presenting its new line of stainless steel davit cranes and accessories designed for corrosive, sanitary, and wash-down environments.

Fully compatible with existing OZ davits and components, WEFTEC attendees can upgrade or expand selectively without replacing entire systems. The Stainless 850 and 1500 Davit Cranes support mix-and-match configurations between stainless and standard components, based on application needs, while providing a cost-effective path to transition into stainless steel for corrosive environments

“It’s relevant that this new line of stainless steel davit cranes has its origin in the WEFTEC community,” said Steve Napieralski, president at OZ Lifting. “Back when I first started attending the show decades ago, it was notable how often I was asked the question, ‘Does that davit crane come in stainless?’”

For years, his answer was always “no” due to the cost-prohibitive nature of stainless steel and limited options requiring full customization.

At the time, the answer was almost always, ‘No’. Stainless steel was just too cost-prohibitive, so options were limited or fully custom.

“The need was clear,” Napieralski said. “These environments are tough, constant moisture, harsh chemicals, tight spaces, and people needed something durable, portable, and built to handle it.”

The idea stuck with him.

“We saw a real gap there, not just in wastewater, but across industries like food processing, cleanrooms, and marine applications,” he said. “This launch is our answer to a question that’s been asked for many years.”

Attendees at WEFTEC will get a look at the new range of davit cranes, as well as the wider stainless steel options from OZ Lifting including chain hoists, beam clamps, push beam trolleys, manual winches, and davit cranes, allowing users to build complete stainless lifting solutions.
