The TWINTIER RB613T-C combines cellular and GPS connectivity with real-time tool tracking, remote locking and geofencing alerts. Contractors can use the system to locate tools, monitor activity, optimize equipment deployment and help deter theft.

The tool features a larger jaw capacity than most battery-powered rebar tying tools, allowing it to complete ties on combinations up to #9 x #10 rebar. MAX says the RB613T-C is the first connected rebar tying tool capable of handling the larger combination.

Tying speed is approximately 1/2 second, making the RB613T-C about 15% faster than the RB611T. Powered by MAX’s TWINTIER technology, the tool can complete approximately 4,300 ties per charge while dispensing the appropriate amount of wire for each tie to help improve productivity and reduce wire consumption.

The integrated connectivity enables real-time tracking through MAX’s web-based management portal. Contractors can establish virtual boundaries and receive alerts when tools leave designated areas. Tool status can also be monitored remotely, while missing equipment can be locked out to help deter unauthorized use.

Location tracking remains active even when the tool is powered off and can continue for up to 30 days, including when the battery has been removed.

The management platform also provides access to tool diagnostics, including status updates, maintenance recommendations and error alerts with step-by-step solutions, helping contractors address problems and minimize downtime.
