Klingspor Abrasives Inc. has launched its new welding dealer program, making its industrial sandpaper and abrasives available to welding retailers for over-the-counter sale.

The program gives welding dealers and distributors a differentiated way to offer industrial-grade cutting, grinding and finishing abrasives directly to customers.
Built on more than 130 years of engineering and industrial-grade abrasive manufacturing experience, the Klingspor welding dealer program is designed to give dealers/distributors a quality-brand story, a broad selling platform and a price-to-performance proposition.
Through the program, dealers gain access to a complete line of abrasives for a variety of fabrication applications and specialized needs with products for cutting, stock-removal grinding, fine grinding and finishing.
The product range serves applications in metalworking, shop and metal construction, staircase and railing construction, stainless-steel container construction, vehicle construction, hall and crane construction, and shipyards.
Dealers can use Klingspor’s product-selection guidance to help align grinding discs, fibre discs, flap discs and abrasive mop discs with customer priorities including process cost, process speed, surface quality, ergonomics, noise, vibration and accessibility.
Through the program, Klingspor technical and product-application specialists can help dealers/distributors address customer questions and recommend products for specific applications.
In addition, participating dealers/distributors receive geographic exclusivity and buy directly from Klingspor, eliminating a middleman. Representatives will visit monthly to set and stock the display, providing dealers/distributors with consistent merchandising and inventory support.
Product packaging designed for quick identification helps customers find the right products at the point of sale, while point-of-purchase signage supports in-store visibility, category organization and navigation across the cutting, grinding and finishing assortment.
Preconfigured Welding Supply Dealer Worksite packages provide ready-made assortments for cutting, grinding and finishing, helping simplify display setup and initial inventory selection Dealers/distributors may also receive signage, brochures, posters, web resources and weld-seam-process video content to support merchandising, product education and customer conversations.
