Metabo HPT Introduces Cordless Pneumatic Nailers
Cordless Pneumatics, a first-of-its-kind nailer category for North America, have been introduced by Metabo HPT.

Designed to deliver pneumatic speed in a cordless platform and built for professional crews, Metabo HPT Cordless Pneumatic Nailers combine the speed, power and drive consistency professionals expect from pneumatic fastening and eliminates the hoses and compressors that have traditionally limited productivity on the jobsite.
The new nailers have been honored as a Pro Tool Innovations Award winner. Metabo HPT has been recognized as the Pro Preferred Brand for pneumatic nailers for 12 consecutive years.
Facing tighter schedules and persistent labor shortages, contractors need an ability to do more with fewer resources.
The new line of Metabo HPT Cordless Pneumatic Nailers is designed for framing, metal connector and duplex forming applications.
"Pros have been telling us for years what they want, pneumatic performance without the hose and compressor," said Joe Leffler, president of Metabo HPT North America. "Cordless Pneumatics is a category designed to give Pros a true pneumatic alternative, one that helps them move faster and work more freely without sacrificing the performance they've relied on for decades."
Cordless Pneumatic Nailers feature Air Spring Drive System Plus, which stores and releases compressed air within the tool itself to deliver consistent driving force along with the speed and response associated with pneumatic fastening, in a fully cordless platform.
. Conservative estimates suggest crews spend as much as 45 minutes per day on compressor setup, hose management and teardown which equates to roughly 150 hours per year for every framer on the job. work. Removing that equipment burden puts more of the day into productive work.
The Cordless Pneumatic models from Metabo offer firing speeds up to six nails per second, ensuring continued productivity. Powered by an 18V Metabo HPT MultiVolt 10.0Ah T-PWR Tabless battery, the new nailers complete up to 1,170 nails per charge. Select models also accept interchangeable magazines.
For routine maintenance, the Cordless Pneumatics feature on-site serviceability that can be done in as little as 10 minutes.
"Making cordless nailers match pneumatic performance required solving two engineering problems at once,” said Bernd Fleischmann, chief technology officer for KOKI Group.
The two problems were to match pneumatic driving power and match pneumatic firing speed.
"Air Spring Drive System Plus combines the proven air spring architecture that has powered our cordless nailers from the start with a new Enhanced Lift Mechanism that doubles shot frequency over the previous generation,” he said. “That is what makes true cordless pneumatic performance possible."
