Get in the Groove for STAFDA's Retro Disco Opening Party in Anaheim
Put on your platform shoes, bust out the Aqua Net, and get ready to hit the dance floor for the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA)’s Retro Disco Opening Party celebrating the 50th Annual Convention & Trade Show at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The agenda for the 50th anniversary celebration, November 15-17, is packed with new events and educational opportunities.

Since 1976, STAFDA’s opening parties have had a reputation for being epic and the 50th anniversary celebration is no different. On Sunday, November 15, whether your jam is the Bee Gees’ “You Should be Dancing,” “Play that Funky Music” by Wild Cherry, or if you want a little “Silly Love Song” by Wings, STAFDA’s going to be spinning all the hits spanning all five decades that the association has existed.
In addition to keeping members in the groove, the event will maintain another STAFDA tradition of featuring a diverse mix of food and beverages to provide opportunities for building business and personal relationships.
Grab a fondue stick, sip on a piña colada, and chat up that Bosch rep or connect with a new manufacturer to bolster your reach.
Contests will be held for best disco threads, biggest hair, and other far out categories to get attendees into the groove. All will have an opportunity to take home the Disco Ball trophy for best dance moves.
The Opening Party will be at the Hilton Anaheim’s outdoor Hilton Plaza from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 15.

TURKISH TECH CLUSTER
STAFDA is excited to welcome 15 new Turkish manufacturer members.
Since December, STAFDA has been working along with the Istanbul Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association (IDDMIB) under the Turkish Ministry of Trade to coordinate their efforts to bring these companies to STAFDA’s Anaheim Convention & Trade Show.
These manufacturers specialize in fasteners, hand tools, power tool accessories, safety equipment, and construction hardware and are committed to building meaningful partnerships with other STAFDA members.
Beksan Nail and Wire, a STAFDA member since 2009 and dedicated trade show exhibitor, are also a member of the Turkish Technical Hardware Cluster.
“The values STAFDA has championed since 1976 fostering genuine relationships between manufacturers and distributors, prioritizing quality and trust over transaction, resonate deeply with our mission and with the entrepreneurial spirit of the Turkish hardware industry,” says Çetin Tecdelioglu, IDDMIB president.
The companies will be exhibiting as part of STAFDA’s 50th Annual Convention & Trade Show in a special section of the exhibit hall near STAFDA Central. They are keen to partner with STAFDA distributor members to expand each other’s international reach.
